You send us your lost property records. We determine which ones are escheatable, based on the property types and the dormancy requirements in the states of the owners’ last known addresses. We continually measure those records that don’t qualify for escheatment in the current filing cycle against the latest requirements, by state and property type, so we know when property needs to be reported. You relax.

Data Review

We load your lost property records for automated processing via data entry or electronic file upload. We apply all due diligence and dormancy tracking rules by property type and state for timely letter and report production. We provide management reports that calculate and forecast your unclaimed property liability. We provide a secure portal to enable access to all related unclaimed property information. You take it easy.

Due Diligence

We make sure your addresses are formatted correctly, perform additional address searches to see if there is a more current one that can be used, and give you address-quality management reports. We generate due diligence letters according to state requirements. We generate the content of those letters. We barcode them. We send them first class or certified mail, according to your requirements. We manage, mail, and track all those letters. We record and update all completed responses. We facilitate the return of funds to property owners with whom we have re-established contact. You go to the spa.

Report Preparation and Filing

We create state reports of outstanding property for you to review and approve. We instruct you on how to remit payment, if necessary. We create final escheatment reports for each state in accordance with their respective statutes. We prepare comprehensive delivery instructions for each state filing, if necessary. You take parasailing lessons.

Report and Record Retention

We provide a secure portal for access to retained reports, records, and log files. We retain a log file of “who changed what when” on each property record for audit documentation. We retain copies of due diligence correspondence for audit documentation. We retain complete copies of all state reports for audit documentation. You take a cruise.
