Annual Statements
Connecting all users and reporting locations in one real-time, collaborative reporting environment, Wings Plus logs all user and statement activity to enhance reconciliation of data and provide auditable verification of who changed what, where, and when. It allows you to save pages as Excel workbooks, build cell references to your data, and read it back into the statement pages. It also stores discrete values once in the database, hyperlinking those values to the appropriate fields in the dependent pages, whether in the same statement or in a different one (e.g., prior year data). As in Excel, dependent and precedent formula references update automatically when statement pages, filing forms, and tax returns open, providing access to the sources of numbers, right down to the values in specific cells.
Wings Plus interfaces with contributing systems like portfolio management applications or general ledgers, importing data without modification, even if it's in another vendor's format. NAIC and ETM custom validations display onscreen, along with the statement page, enhancing accuracy and reducing reconciliation time. Notes to financials, org charts, and secured PDF files (i.e., Actuarial Opinion) embed in the statement in perfect format, eliminating edit and review time.
Right, on Time
Automated scheduling enables unattended importing, exporting, and printing of information during off hours to help complete your filings more quickly. Validations run real-time, all the time, continually error-checking numbers so you can fix problems early in the preparation cycle. Multiple tasks run concurrently, since load-balancing servers, not workstations, shoulder the work to maximize performance and scalability. And the filing process is executed as a single, fully automated step (including pre-file audit reports), resulting in output ready to send to the NAIC. Finally, Wings Plus ensures fast, simple delivery of completed statements. "Print ready" electronic copies (e.g., PDF) are guaranteed to match hard copies, so PDF files can be sent to your financial printer (Bowne, Swift, et al.).
