Executive Biographies

Larry Kane, President

Before becoming President of ETM, Larry served as co-founder and President of The Freedom Group for 15 years. Prior to that, Larry held positions as President of HMS Financial Services, a company devoted to the processing of banking applications; and Insurance Products Manager at TLS, a software and services company.

Layton Olson, Senior Vice President

Layton also was a founder of The Freedom Group. At ETM, Layton sets strategic direction for the company, its products, and its services. He develops partnerships with other application providers to facilitate integration with Wings. Before The Freedom Group, Layton co-founded and served as President of Espiria, Inc., a developer of information security programs.

Jeff Textor, Chief Financial Officer

Jeff is a CPA with software development and insurance accounting experience. After seven years in public accounting, he spent eight years developing software for Parsons Technology and TLS – and three years as Assistant Controller and Tax Manager with AEGON Insurance companies. He also served as CFO for The Freedom Group before joining ETM.

Bruce Benson, Vice President (Regulatory Development)

Another of the founders of The Freedom Group, Bruce was the sole developer of that company’s annual statement software and served as its Vice President of Regulatory Products. At ETM, Bruce’s focus is on product design – staying abreast of technology to ensure optimal functionality, superior customer support, and exceptional value.

Dennis Miller, Vice President (Financial Development)

Dennis’s career in business processing began at TLS, developing tax preparation software for accounting firms. He then spent 12 years with The Freedom Group, developing annual statement and financial accounting software for insurers. At ETM, Dennis continues to automate and improve processes with technology, making them more reliable and efficient.
